   Don't snap my rubberband necklace -

I don't want unnecessary pain.

Before summer is through I want to be fulfilled -

I wish for your face to be so close to mine that our eyelashes touch, my blonde

to your dark.

I want to hear you whispering honest thoughts to me.

I'd like to kick away the lies that swarm at my feet like huge black bugs with

annoying cracked shells that stare.

I wish on the silver moon that the summer sun doesn't set on disappointed

souls.
