Magnificent skyline, people
Bustle about like worker bees,
Carryingout their daily chores.
Stopping at the corner deli or
Getting thedaily paper
not knowing what is in store
For tomorrow or the dayafter.
See - I think about this
Each day that I open my eyes
Iwonder if I will ever see
Such beautiful skylines again
In thishistoric city. Gone
In a New York minute. Gone in
An hour's time, just likethat.
As the sun set over the magnificent skyline.
