In today’s   history, we understand that that the Civil war was the effort that led to slave’s Freedom.  The Underground rail word was also a famous one. The idea is this;  what if a slave’s freedom had to be achieved through the slaves themselves? The first thought that would come to your mind would be, you know, I have never heard of this. Yes, it is called slave revolts.  Even my history teacher never heard of it. These events did not happen over continuous years like a war, but it did happen at certain ones. They were all based in New York City. One will be in 1712 and the other will be in 1741.  They involved gruesome murders, chaotic fires, and a fear in society that was created.  Before we go on to what happened next I wanted to remind you that through the ages, after a slave revolt , society just got tougher
