Our Oceans

A deep hole is being made in Earth's atmosphere by the human pollution. Many countries are taking measures to stop sending toxic gases to the atmosphere. For example, we should not use sprays, or try to walk instead of using cars (which produce smoke). Environments in the oceans and on land are also being affected. Many endangered species have died, coral reefs have been lost, forests have been cut. We must do something about it too! We can save forests by making more protected areas. If we stop throwing factory remains into rivers and oceans we could save the oceans. Here in Costa Rica, oceans are not very well protected and species are dying. Did you know oceans contain about a 97% of Earth's biodiversity, and a 3,7% belongs to our country?
