Katy jumped hearing the loud bang outside, she couldn't sleep she always was a bit restless her mother said she was an insomniac. She went to the window and saw a group of men carousing below. They seemed oblivious to her ornery neighbor Ms.Cadbury yelling profanities out the window. She decided it was nothing and got back into bed thinking about the outside world again since her mother wouldn't allow her to leave the apartment, whenever she asked her mother would say "You're too assumptuous about the outside its not a happy place." Those words rang through her head as she slowly drifted to sleep
