Signals MAG

By Michael D., Sharon, MA

   I drove past her stop

so wanting to merge,

heeding not the red

that seemed so green,

I sought the fast lane

losing my lawful limits,

she gave me a ticket

but I cannot pay the fine,

stuck in the breakdown lane

with no exit to a free way,

I am forced to get out,

needing a tow truck,

I become a hitchhiker

looking for a lift.
