     There was a phrase written on her desk,

“Laugh uncontrollably,

Sing like no one’s listening,

Live life to the fullest,

Break the rules.”

I didn’t laugh at all.

She turned off the radio.

She didn’t once crack a smile,

And when I broke the rules she said,

“You failed. Come back next week.”
