Don't be afraid to show the world who you really are.

Tears began to sting my eyes as they threatened to fall. I wouldn't want to cry in front of everyone because of all the attention that might be drawn to me. I am not a person to often reveal my feelings to other people, but I am very emotional behind doors.

She stole my glasses and made everyone stare at me.

"I am so ugly" I thought to myself as they pointed and laughed. My insecurities became more overwhelming as I realized that people enjoy doing things that they wouldn't want done to them.
"I am not going to cry," I whispered to myself as my face remained determined and unsympathetic. "I must remain positive. I must show to them that I could care less, what they do or say about me." I could keep up this act until I am in my room and begin to cry my eyes out.

. . .
