I woke up today and I looked in the mirror and realized I am not me. When I looked in the mirror I saw a sad and wasted little boy. When I went to school and failed a test I realized I am not me. When I went to a party and got drunk, I realized I am not me. When I got in a car with a buddy who was drunk, I realized I am not me. I am not me, I don't fail tests, get drunk, or get in a car with someone drunk. This is not me and don't do this kind of stuff. I want to go back to being a smart, funny, and loveable guy. Please Lord, just let me go back to being that guy. Please Lord, please!

I wrote this when I was going through a rough patch in my life. I felt like I wasn't me and that what this piece is about.
