Today is the day,
You walk down the hallway,
And it feels like everyone is staring at you,
Today is the day.

Today is the day,
You sit in the bathroom,
And eat you lunch alone,
Today is the day.

Today is the day,
Your opinion doesn’t matter,
And you’re given the cold shoulder,
Today is the day.

Today is the day,
You feel the pressure of high school,
And the cliques corner you,
Today is the day.

Today is the day,
You feel like your life is over,
And no one wants to be your friend,
Today is the day.

Today is the day,
Nobody remembers who you are,
And you walk down the hallway alone and in tears,
Today is the day.

Today is the day,
The preppy girls walk up behind you,
And the hallway is silent, as they pour a soda over your head.
Today is the day.

Today is the day,
You wrote this poem,
And it will have a purpose,
Today is the day.
