He's Leaving

By
he's leaving me.
Right now I watch
as he packs his things to leave.
We can't agree
and I'm dying
knowing
that he will be gone,
and I am alone.

Forever never happens.
It just simply doesn't exist.
I don't expect us to be different,
but this
is way more than I wanted,
so much more than I need.
I am falling apart
as he kisses my head
and turns,
now I watch him leave.

Today, he is not here,
tomorrow he will be gone,
the day after he might call,
then he'll come home.
As soon as he arrives,
he's already walking away.
I beg and I plead,
but he just simply cant,
because,
there's no where to stay.
