To Hell With Society's Idea Of "Beauty"

In today’s society, for girls to be “beautiful” they need to have a perfect face, long and straight hair, tanned skin, perfect nose and teeth, wear short shorts, short skirts, high heels and tons of makeup, have a perfect skin without any little flaw, and be thin. I do not agree with this idea of beauty.

Nowadays, girls think that for boys to like them they’ve got to be “perfect”, so they start having lots of plastic surgeries in their bodies. They are completely wrong. It may be true that young and immature boys like girls with big butts and stuff, but a real man will love you just the way you are.

Almost every woman spends her life looking for perfection. It might take long for them to realize that they wasted their time. You are beautiful like you are, because God made you, and he makes no mistakes. Just because you are not as thin as the model you saw on the T.V or your hair is not as shiny as your favorite actress’ hair, doesn’t mean she is pretty and you are ugly. You are beautiful, so is she and so is every women in the entire world.

In my point of view, your physical appearance and features doesn’t describe how beautiful you are. Beauty comes from the inside. To be beautiful, you don’t need to be pretty on the outside, you need to be pretty in the inside and have a good attitude and personality. You should be thankful with God and be so full of joy for being alive, that you shouldn’t even worry about stupid things like how thin you are. You only live once, you shouldn’t spend your life looking at a mirror and realizing that you are full of flaws. Instead, spend your life helping, enjoying, loving and smiling. It will make you even more beautiful.

In your life, a lot of people will criticize you and tell you that you are ugly and that you are not good enough. Never listen to them, because they are lying. You are good enough, even more than enough, if you are yourself. Do not pretend to be something you are not. I’m sure that if you are a real person and you don’t fake anything about your life, you will be successful in everything you want to. You are who you are, and you can’t change it, so you better enjoy it. Remember, never listen to any critic, and do not criticize anyone.

Live your life to the fullest. Don’t stop yourself from eating a hamburger because you think you’ll get fat. Don’t stop yourself from doing the things you want to do because of what people will think or if you will look beautiful doing it. Don’t be silly darling, truth is someday you’ll get old and die, and you will regret you didn’t do what you wanted, and you won’t be happy. Someday your life will flash before your eyes, so make it worth watching. You won’t want to cover your eyes at some scenes because you are ashamed of them or because you wish they would’ve happened differently, so do what your heart says, and do not care about if society will criticize for it.

Do this: Every time you look at the mirror, do not look at your flaws as you use to. It is not good to always look at the things that make you feel ugly. Instead look at your eyes, and thank God for being able to see, look at your ears and mouth, and thank God for being able to hear, speak and taste, look at your nose, and thank God for being able to smell, look at yourself and thank God for being alive, and to even have a mirror to look at.

Remember that you are beautiful, it doesn’t matter if you are thin or fat, short or tall, if you have big, small, blue, green, brown, yellow, or black eyes, red, brown, black, or blonde hair, if your teeth are aligned or separated from each other, the kinds of clothes that you wear, how big or small is your nose, how long or short your hair is. You are really, really beautiful. Never let anyone tell you the opposite. Love yourself, cause imperfection is beauty.
