When you don't know where you're headed, you find places no one would ever think to explore.

I found “The Stupid Idea” by Sarah Egan intriguing. Her story about not thinking things through left me reflecting on my past decisions. In the end she writes, “I now know that it’s better to think things through.” I think that is a very valid statement because bad things happen when people leave their brain in their back pocket.

“Screams from a clan of 13-year-old girls filled my kitchen,” wrote Sarah. The introductory sentences grab the reader’s attention, although some things are unclear. Where were the parents at this sleepover? Screaming typically brings parents running.

I can relate to this article because I once tried to pierce my friend’s ear and basically had the same result, except for the screaming. Hopefully at some point everyone learns to think things through. Sarah and I share very similar experiences.
