The memoir "Playing God" by James Craig can relate to most people. He explains an event of selecting a lobster to eat from the restaurant Red Lobster. However, the way he describes it is amazing. He puts the reader in an entirely different scene; a scene nobody would ever think of when it comes to choosing which lobster to choose.

My favorite line of the memoir would have to be "I stare at them, examining each, deciding who deserves to die. They stare back at me, afraid, like deer in headlights." Reading those two sentences created tension and gave the conflict in a way that wasn't generic. The reader would never guess at the beginning that James was talking about which lobster he was choosing to eat since he phrased his sentences so well.
