a knife without a Blade,
a fruit without Seeds,
a garden without Flowers,
a jam without Sugar,
a lady without Heels,
a pencil without Lead,
a pen without Ink,
a star without Shine,
a sword without a Hilt,
a king without Wealth,
a crown without Jewels,
Teen Ink without Writers –
such is a life without Charms.

Love yourself and believe in yourself! This world can’t be without you because each one of us is special!

It is just very interesting. It explains life in a simple way. It isn't degrading at all Don't read into things.

@MysticMusic the line you thought was funny, I found deeply offensive. The poem as a whole reminds me of something I wrote in second grade and doesn't strike me as something that deserves to be published. I don't understand this poem at all, but I think that this might be due to my own ignorance -- I have no idea what "Charms" are. Could someone explain to me what you like about it?

It's a really good satire commenting on human behaviour. It's true that one should always be happy and optimistic despite the gravest of situations s/he has to confront. This is something that stays with one forever — his optimism. Really good work. Keep it up!
