The poem “lost and not found” written by Kathleen S. is extravagant.  This poem says FIND and certain object or emotion.   Underneath it says NOT FOUND.  For example the first “Find …not found”.   The poem says to me that someone is searching for all these different safe words, but just can’t find them.  It shows that what we desire is not always easily found or obtained.  “Items appear to be lost” gives me a feeling that, the items are lost out of surprise.  The word “appear” shows that the girl thought that all the items were not lost but found.   From this observation people in life that might think they have a good home, love, or him as in a significant other.  The only thing is she really didn’t have any of them.  It shows that the girl is in a great search for happiness but happiness is what she does not have.
