“My Paper Is Like an Onion” by Jasline S. presents a perfect metaphor for the hardship of writing an essay. Any high school student anywhere could read this and completely relate to the author. This piece is so universal even aliens would nod and smile in agreement as they read about her procrastination and writer’s block.
