An arrow can be shot only by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it’s going to launch you into something great. So just take a deep breath and keep aiming.

Catherine Cheng writes of the strong bond she has with her siblings in “Connected.” It was a piece that accurately described the relationship I have with my own. Though I stand in the view of the middle child rather than the oldest one Catherine is, I am able to relate. Petty fights and argument arise on a daily basis with my siblings, and we often refuse to help each other. However, we can also tell when things go wrong; it’s almost a sixth sense.

I couldn’t agree more with Catherine’s statement about family. “No distance or hateful words can destroy it.” There are times when it seems as if one would be much better off without siblings, but the love shared will end up persevering.
