“The Wake Up Call” by Tina is an emotional true story that influenced her life. This article is about how her best friend was almost killed due to the alcohol and pills she gave him. This well- written piece demonstrated how this issue isn’t a joke, and could kill countless lives. Although the author didn’t mean any harm, at the end she realized the truth.

I found the part where her friend, Cole in the hospital scary and realistic. After all, it was partially the narrator’s fault that he is the way he is now. I also enjoyed reading the conclusion where the Tina learned that she had to change. This also made me feel elated that she got the “wake up call.” I would like to thank Tina for sharing this emotional yet sad experience with readers. This article could greatly impact many people that are on drugs today.
