Submission Delays

I'm 20... ok now I'm 30... now I'm knocking on 40! Am I the only one who experiences problems with the time at which my articles are posted? Every time I submit something, it takes forever to get published on the website. However, when it's finally posted and I look at the date when it was posted, it matches a day when I looked on the website and my e-mail, but I wasn't informed about it. It makes no sense, it's ludicrous! Plus, my poem named "Clouds", that I sent like four days ago, was posted before an article that I sent almost two weeks ago. The only explanation I can think of is that maybe some of the writing topics have more submissions than others, and that's why it takes a long time for an article to get posted. I'm not bashing Teen Ink, trust me! I adore you all; I've said this plenty of times before. I just feel like it's my duty to help you become a better website since you've helped me become a better writer. Please don't take it personal (blows a kiss).
