I found the poem “Anti-Fairy Tale” by Aryelle Y. very refreshing. I couldn't help smiling while reading it. Falling in love is a natural subject for many writers; but Aryelle added a very nice twist to all the fairy-tale myths we like to believe in.

My favorite part of the poem was the last three lines, where she wrote that she wouldn't live happily ever after, but she would live. Aryelle used that fairy-tale phrase effectively to show that life isn't a fairy tale. It's nice to dream, but she provides a sarcastic reality check. This piece was very well thought-out and written.
