I read "Charlie Brown" because I figured, hey, who doesn't love Peanuts? But this story was not at all humorous.
I have some very close friends, and it would be so hard for me if I lost them to drugs. I felt tremendously sad for the narrator who had lost a friend to something so horrible. When "Charlie Brown" stole Sydney's money, it reminded me of how addictive drugs can be, and the serious problems they cause for friends and families.
