Am I crazy? You don’t see that do you? You don’t see the saggy faced man, the one who walks with a limp, the one who smiles and waves? You don’t see that lady do you? The lady who has a bloody hand, the one who has a scar down the left side of her face, the one with the purple dress? You don’t see them do you?
Am i crazy?
They say I’m crazy. Yes, them the ones at school. They say I talk to thin air.
But I see the girl on my lunch table sitting across from me asking me if she could have some of my greasy pizza. The one who my friend says is not there. But I see her she’s wearing jeans and a black shirt. She is asking me why my friend can’t see her. I say I don’t know. She says I will see you tomorrow and gets up and walks away.
They say there is no cat without a head running in circle in the classroom. They say there is no bird flying in circles in the bathroom with no wings. They say. But I see.

Didn’t that happen already?
I tell mum, shes a doctor. She packs my clothes. And we drive. Drive for hours. We finally make it and I see: Psychiatric Hospital. I guess I really am crazy.
