Trash
Along the beach
I bend down
To pick up
More trash
It seems as though beach
Clean-up had no effect
Sewage drained into the ocean
Our waterways
Clogging up
Trash
Everywhere
I see people along
The roads
Highways
Cleaning up our messes
A mysterious car driver
Throws her cigarette butt
Trash
But what would happen
If we stopped
Would the world be cleaner?
Take it away
Smelly air
Dangerous diseases
When fishing I get a shoe
Should the fish go?
Because they cannot breathe
Trash
I bend down
Pick up
The trash could be gone
Just pick up
Trash
