It took me quite a time to realize what my dog was actually trying to tell me. Barking as he was at the clothes line, he kept on glancing backwards at me over and over again on a fine spring morning. Cheeko, had always been a clever dog, but this time it looked as if he was faking his way to get attention. Ignoring his weird behavior, I continued to wash my school bag, which was severely dirty for Cheeko had sneaked in to my closet (after having opened it mysteriously) and grabbed hold of it the instant he saw this bag miraculously intact and clean. It was not until I remembered an incident that occurred a few days ago, did I realize why he was barking at the clothesline nonstop. Apparently, a few days ago, Cheeko had taken hold of a few of my newly washed clothes after having pulled them off of the clothesline (which probably took him a great deal of time, considering the fact that he is barely 2 feet!). Of course, he got scolded for his ruthless action. But I guess, he was smart enough to keep himself from repeating his action twice. The reason why he was barking was because one of my random sweat-shirts had fallen off of the clothesline. He was barking in order to inform that one of clothes had fallen of, probably due to wind. I realized how smart he was, and how little I appreciated him before. Well, at least now I don’t have to worry about my clothes getting ripped by Cheeko because this time I’m pretty sure he’d help me fix them rather than torn in to pieces.
Why my dog keeps on Barking towards the clothesline.
