Striving to grow

Awed in her presence
A dream willing to persist
and pass down for sempiternity
A cigarette carelessly tossed
Out of a moving car
The spark slowly burning
Catching
Thriving
Growing into a mass inferno
Which has no regard for the forest in its way
A dream halted
but not discontinued.
