The River - Something I Know This work has been published in the Teen Ink monthly print magazine.


      The river trickles softly,
quietly,                     harmlesly,

    flowing over rocks
                    their only obstacle.
    The fall reaches nearer
the fall               suddenfall.
    it drops, drops, like
        something I know
    but something I can't think of.
     Thewater, which used to be together, separates,
   reachingout, stretching out
with white foamyarms.

  Then crash, seperating, but together ...
