Anxiety peaks as the deafening silence screams aloud.
The skin slicing scratch alters the confusion to no avail.
A final white noise pierces throughout the room and rips the sanity from within.
As the question bounces from the four enclosing walls, eyes shut with an altered perception of dismay and a bully.

Bullying. This poem is about a character whose life is riddled with torment and an overbearing torture of meanness and cruelty. As the character goes a bit insane with the silence of a silent room filled with people, he/she hears something. As their world seems to crash, the character catches the difference between ridicule and the actual question someone was asking him/her. As the poem concludes, the character realizes the difference of a simple chat and an awful event of bullying.
