The stares the shouts,
“Oh god!” I plea,
For I’m in hell,
No longer me.
A mousy girl,
With no life.
Someone to be tortured,
Pushed around in fright.
Blackness creeps,
The edge of my vision.
The jeers, their taunts,
Of haughty derision.
“No more, I’m done!”
They snarl back,
Ignoring my cries.
I bite my lip and prepare for the attack.
Purple and black,
My soul is shattered.
My life has been tamed,
I am no longer the master.
I ignore my family,
Desperate to help.
I am alone,
Forever a whelp.
That night,
I am finally ready.
To take my life,
Because they are petty.
I feel the rope,
Tight and stable.
I tie it around,
And breathe while I’m able.
I’m finally free!
No longer depressed.
I’m finally happy.
No longer a mess.
My breath slipped away,
My life gone too.
The blackness took me,
Away from you.
It’s ok,
Don’t be scared.
I’ll be here for you,
Be prepared.
