I love Doctor Who and it seems like a lot of you do too..

My favourite companion would have to be Billie Piper AKA Rose Tyler :)

If I chose Rose then I would have to pick David Tennant as my favourite doctor because they go so well as a pair.

(Though I do love Matt Smith as the new doctor)

I agree! David and Matt are awesome!!! but Id choose Amy as the best companion

Amy is a really good companion - I love the fact that with her and the doctor there was only a platonic love and she wasn't ever a love interest.

Best Doctor: Tom Baker, hands down. No competition. Not even from Tennant. Best companion is definitely Amy. Rose complained too much about how much her life sucked, when in reality, she got to travel through time and space with the doctor! Stop whining, Rose! Amy is the best

I haven't seen any of the older episodes of Doctor Who so cannot comment - might have to watch them now though :)

Rose did complain a lot but I have to admit I cried so much when she 'died' and then when she was reunited with the doctor again

I stopped watching Doctor Who after David Tennant left. Rose (Billie Piper) was absolutely perfect, their chemistry was incredible and it was my favourite show, just because of them. I can't wait for Novemeber for the anniversary, they both come back.

I've only seen the renewed series (2005 - ) but I'm a bit caught between Rose and Martha. I thought Martha was da bomb and she used to be my favorite, but I attribute a lot of that to the fact that the first season of Doctor Who I saw had her in it.
But I just love Rose. She's funny and I don't know, very likeable. And I have to admit, I've been a bit stupid and haven't seen many new episodes since Matt Smith took over. I felt so depressed after David's departure that I was a bit bitter and rose my expectations of Matt to impossible standards.
Though from what I've seen from Amy, she seems cool. I'm going to try and catch back up on the more recent seasons of DW and try and see if I can start to like Clara, too. We shall see...
