Somewhere, somewhere this has been done before... anyways, top 5 saddest anime/manga moments? I know not all people watch anime or read manga, but for those otaku writers out there... here's your chance to tell us. Spoilers will probably be here, so watch out...

So many Hetalia... but it's supposed to be an upbeat, humorous show...
I don't watch a lot of anime but.. When L died - Death Note When Ciel And Sebastian Were On The Boat - Black Butler And there was this one other show.. I cant remember it except for this one guy wanted to disappear. And he was evil then good and he died and I cried a lot .. Sorry!!
Once you said Higurashi you could have ended this thread XD that's my fav and it'svery bloody; yet the story was perfect and made me cry. But you did forget bakenomongamri (sorry screwed up the name, but I suggest you watch :D) it's 13 eps and the main character always gets wooped XD (but he's part vampire so it doesn't really matter)
L's Death for sure... I wasn't able to watch Death Note for three months after that. 0_0... And basically every time Sawako gets bullied in Kimi Ni Todoke... And when Sunako cuts her bangs in "The Wallflower" (it wasn't THAT sad but it was symbolic because she gave in to what the other girls wanted)... And I know it's not real anime but I have to admit that I cried when Ash got turned to stone in the first Mew movie XD
I haven't watched much anime, but the flashbacks of Gaara's childhood pulled some heartstrings for me.
