I've seen plenty of plays, but I don't feel qualified to list a top five. My FAVORITE play of all time is definitely Little Shop Of Horrors, though. It's really the best story of all time.

In no particular order, my top favourite plays are Shakespeare's King Lear, Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, Henrik Ibsen's Peer Gynt, Jerome Lawrence and Robert Lee's Inherit the Wind, and Sophocles' Antigone. Jean Anouilh's version of Antigone is also excellent, although since Anouilh's version is considerably different from Sophocles' version, I may have over stepped the 'five only' limit.

I haven't seen a lot of plays but I've read a bunch. I will say my absolute favorite play is Wicked. I also love Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night's Dream, I'm a big Shakespeare fan.

I haven't read up to 5, but The Crucible is a favorite.
