I knew one of the guitarists from Story of the Year. I think his name was Phil. They lived by me when they were famous, and Phil happened to work at my after-school daycare thing.
But anyway...

I have plenty of songs that meaning to me. I just can't put them in a top five, though. That's like asking a parent to pick its favorite child. =P

I don't care about a top 5, it just fit the board. Tell me any of them, I'm interested. =)

"Whats This Life For" by Creed probably holds the most personal meaning to me. It's gotten me through so many rough times.

I see we have two common songs. This makes me excited =D
Until the Day I Die almost perfectly describes my friendship with a past friend of mine (mainly after it ended).
How to Save a Life is a little more complicated and needs a bit of explanation for it to make proper sense. But that one has something to do with another friend of mine, and a little to do with the first friend that I mentioned.

@ Jubilex: I go to school with the younger brother of the vocalist for The Summer Obsession, and have for the last seven years. He's a cool kid, with the longest hair I've ever seen on a guy in real life.
Personal meaning? Hmm... most of these songs have no real bearing to my life, but are still significant to me, for various reasons.
"Casimir Pulaski Day" by Sufjan Stevens
"All That's Known" from Spring Awakening
"*~Asterisk~" by Orange Range
"Viva La Vida" by Coldplay
"Kaze no Machi he" from the Tsubasa Chronicle soundtrack (title translation: The Town of Wind)
"Geek in the Pink" by Jason Mraz
I'll probably think of a million more later, but those are the ones that come to mind.

Myrah, that is awesome! =D
Purple Sun, I very much like some of the songs you have chosen.
Tambers, I like Paramore, The Fray and Three Days Grace, although I can't stand King of Leon. But, it is good that you have songs that mean a lot to you =)
Cup Cake, Scars is another one of those songs for me. But it only was for a certain period of time. I doubt I'd even be able to listen to it all the way through anymore. Not because it hurts, but because my tastes have changed.

I love the ORE SKA BAND
all their songs rock like
Yui: rolling stars

Three Days Grace-Never too late
I don't have a top five. That song means so much because it came out at a time when my parents and doctors had admitted me to a mental hospital because I was cutting myself.
