Um I can't give out my e-mail or use people's -email on here. Sorry if that inconviences you, I'm just playing it safe. I've read way to many stories on the news about inofmration getting into teh wrong ahdns etc, etc, etc, (Ya know what I mean?)
(I don't think you're a creepy stalker, but I don't like e-mailing people I've only met online or putting my e-mail up for the world to see...sorry again.)
Dont worry about it! I totally understand! But if you ever need to e-mail me you have it. Its just another resource for you to use at your disposial if you so choose!
My computer messed up, I don't actually have it...(My computer messes with me a lot)
Ya know I was think it would be so weird if we both went into the Marines and accidently met up somewhere along the line. :-P I mean that would be cool, but really odd. :-P :-P
That would be so cool!!! Im planning on Marine ROTC at VMI. But they hand pick their Marines so my fall back is Army and completing the Ranger challenge (I know girls cant be rangers but this challenge says that of they need me I can be a ranger without going to ranger school)
Actually according to something I read the military is trying to open up options to women that were previously closed. And if any services ahs reasons they don't want women in a certain group(special ops, subs, something like that.) they have to send in an application with their reason by 2016 or they have to open it up to women.
So who knows? Maybe Rangers will open up to women! :-D
I'm hoping to into the Naval Academy Marine Corps route...or enlist and maybe be one of the few enlisted selected to go to the naval academy. (They do select enlisted men and women to go to the academy and have like a small amount of slots open for that specific reason.)
And you know you'll actually be doing Navy ROTC Marine corps route, right? As far as I know the Marines don't have their own ROTC, they use the Navy's just like the use the Naval academy, they just have a MArine Corps route in each of those two thing..
Thats what im saying, but VMI does have a Marine ROTC if you are in the navy ROTC for 1 year. trouble is, I am not interested in the navy in any way shape or form. Which is why im on the fence as far as being a Marine goes.
I think earning a Ranger tab would be just as satisfying :)
Yeah, I'm OK with Navy, but if you only have tod oa year of Navy ROTC before going into teh Marine Corps option I honestly would think it;d be woth it even if you don't like the navy.
I have a married couple that live 3 houses from me that are both active duty Marines and my boyfriend is in the Army going for his Ranger tab. So im just gonna talk to both and see which would suit me best :)
That sounds like good idea! :-D
I've been thinking I either want special ops/infantry stuff or I want to go into law in the military...
Hes in the infantry, hes a mortar. Special Ops is something ive been looking at too! :)
I know, Spec. Ops. seems so awesome! Law seems cool too though, Ive been told I would make a good lawyer. (Not really sure how to take that. :-P)
HA! Well I just wouldnt want to be a lawyer because I wouldnt want to know a guy/girl was guilty and try and defend them, or it be my fault if an innocent person was convicted
Being a lawyer would be cool. Honestly if the person I was defending was guilty beyond teh shadow of a doubt and had no reason. (Liek self-defense or whatever) I might abdicate myself or something like that...like not do the case....
And if I truely believe someone is innocent and I have to be a prosocuter I might do the same thing...
Another I've cpnsidered is being a judge...
Well whatever you feel your calling is! :) Go for it!
My goal for now is VMI. Bigger picture is an officer for 4 years and the government agency I want to be a part of. Or sticking with the military :) then later in life I hope to reunite with my one true passion. Riding.
That's cool. I plan on making a career out of the military and only getting out if/when I get married....
Im getting married as soon as i get out of college before I go into the military for 4 years as an officer
I don't want to be married when I'm actually in the military, at least not when I have kids, I want to be a stay at home mom and homeschool.
Well if or when I have kids of course I'll be staying home with them! At least until they are old enough to understand mom has a country to protect. (probably around the teen years)
