SOOOO for all of you who have seen anything of mine you know I want to be in the military / government agency. Well starting tomorrow I am doing a civilian boot camp 3 times a week before school starting at 5am and going through 7am I think. Any suggestions besides this boot camp that could help with my military / agency goals?
I do my exercising throughout teh day...running in teha fter noon and I try to do 20 push ups every hour. (It may seem easy but atfer like a week with no nreaks of doing push ups every hour (0500-2100) it hurts! Today I'm breaking ebcuase I don't want to over strain my shoulders or pop them too much. (My shoudler pop in and out whiel I push ups, it's weird. 0.o) And every night I do sit ups, flutter kicks, and some other exercises...actually it's about 6 days a week i exercise, oen day is break day usually so I don't hurt myself or anything...one or two break days per week is good according to something I read and my dad.)
I suggest if yu can joining an auxiluary group like Young Marines or Civil Air Patrol, or Sea cadets or something like that...or an JROTC if you have one at your school.
You could aso find some like minded people at your school adns et up like a private club for studyng, helping each other out, exercisng, drilling, etc, etc, thatw ay your working on stuff you need to doa dn helping others...
I dunno these are just some ideas I thought of...
Thanks for your help Honor! Ill definitely use some of these! Usually I do 100 pushups at least 3 times a week doind 10x with 90 seconds of rest in between. Then i do situps in the morning. I dont have a JROTC at my school but i did do my first session at Spartan Bootcamp today... THAT is some intense stuff! Very happy about it. Started at 0500 and ended at 0600 and its honestly incredible what you can jam into a single hour hahaha
Sounds like fun! Keep up the good work on the push ups! I actually realize I eercise 7 days a week, I just mix up the exercises, like I do push ups 6 days a week, but the otehr exercises I mix up in here and tehre. PUsh up are my favorite exercise though! I wish there was a boot camp near me, but there's literally nothing near me and our family's busy enough already so I train myself... :-D
I do mots of my exercising in teh evening or afternoon becuase I do school in the morning.
Oh I have a question, I just wanna see if this happens to you. WHen I run, sometime my ankle will suddenly give way and my foot will turn inwards, then it'll hurt, but I usually just keep runninga dn the pain goes away...but it's still kind of freaky....I was hoping it didn't just happen to me...
THAT HAPPENS TO ME TOO!!!! And so does the shoulder popping during the pushups! Also, when i do starbursts (like a sprawled out crunch where you spread all out and then come into a tight ball and repeat) my hip pops out and back it.... REALLY weird...
My hip pops doing flutter kicks...I've never tried starburts before...I'l have to try them sometimes...it is really weird...and it sounds wierd when you do push ups and your shoulders going like 'pop, pop, pop, pop'.
My mom says I have loose joints so that may be teh reason why stuff like that happens to me...but I don't know...
I dont know either but i know im in the hospital enough to ask hahaha
I don't go to the hospital that much..even when my knees really hurt to bend at all I didn't. I don't like the hospital, they tell you to stop what your doing(WHich totally ruins any progress you've made) and such...plus they poke and prod you and I hate being touched.
I tried starbursts....guess what, I hip popped! :-P
TOLD YOU!!!! And Im just clumsy. Always breaking, fracturing, or spraining something! And I have Ovarian cysts which render you disabled whenever they act up sending me to the hospital. Do i ever listen to doctors restriction orders? no. I take my meds and get on with my life hahaha Bigger and Better things to do!!! :D
I've never broken anything, I onc ehurt my knees so they hurt to bend even the facture of an inch..no idea hwo I did that, but the pain stopped after a couple weeks of not doing squats every night. But no I've broken anything..nots ure about sprained...I don't think so though.... :-P
Ugh..Math is so hard for me, but I want to get into the naval academy and you have to do at least 2 years of math classes there...-_-
Any advice on how to make math easier?
Personally, I used to find math extremely challenging because I dont have an analitical mind like that. More literal and thoughtful. However, there are some things you can do to make your mind more analitical!
What I've done is take the math lesson I learned and have it taught to me by my teacher (obviously) and then by a friend that knows it really well THEN I do my homework not once, but twice. To make sure I really understand the lesson. IT WORKS WONDERS!
I do schooling online...right now the program is making do those problems I realy hate.
EX: A train starts out from a DC and goes 50 mph towards Boston and the another train leaves Boston 2 hours later going 75 mph how long will it take for them to meet in the middle?(Honestly all that come sto my mind is a train crash when I think of that problem.)
Ugh...I don't even know why I'm doing with problems again...if I really need help I ask my dad when he gets home from work...but anyway I gotta at eats get out of highschool...homefully into college...
HEY!!! I know how to do those! We did those last year and my teacher has a great way to explain it! If you would like I could talk to him about it and if you tell me what type of math you are doing (im in Pre- Calculus) I could even get you into the online version of my classroom (possibly).

(I did these problems last year, the year before that, and some other years when I was kid...I still don't get them)
You know something? I was OK at math until they decided to throw the letters into the equations...I like concrete stuff not just randome letter and number floating around in some dark corner of my brain....
HAHA I know right! In Pre-Cal we have letters mixed with the occasional number haha eg: Arccos(sin -1)^-1
It isnt as bad as I thought once I decided I had to make A's and B's (which in my school is very difficult. top 10 schools in the nation)
I could definitely ask him for an explanation of the problem. However, I leave for a riding competition today so when do you need the assignment done so I have a time frame?
Um it's not really an assingment that ahs to be complete ina time frame, that's just the type of problems I'm doing...I have a test next week on a bunch of thinsg including that and some other really fun stuff that I can't remember at the moments(can't you sense my excitement?)....
Anyway if you don't have time I don't need it explained, I'll look it up before I do the test or just review the lesson a bunch...don't go out of your way or anything, if you chance upon like the 'Explanations of annoying and difficult math problems for idiots' book though you can tell me. :-P
Honestly I like physical stuff liek exercising better than stuff like math...Though I too need to keep in the A range of grades...
