Honestly, I like to write. I wouldn't be here if I didn't here. However, I'm not trying to get megafamous.
I'm worried because I am working on a writing in progress. I want to see if I have what it takes, but what if I do? What if I REALLY do? I'm not completely sure I want the demand, but I still want to give writing a novel a whirl.
Should I quit thinking about writing books if my aim ISN'T to be famous>
no. i think you should write for leisure and do what you love. my grandma has two published books and writes poetry, with no aim of being famous.
Thank you so much!! Someone (their name escapes) me said, :"You know when you get annoyed when actors whine about privacy? Then you ask, "Well, why did you become an actor, jerk?"
I don't want writing to become a burden to me because I love it!
I feel very much the same. I used to think that writing was all about showing my passion and I had the dream of becoming a great young author but then I realized high school was too much work for that...Fame and fortune may be sought and earned but often it may just come at the drop of a hat. Continue to write because you love it, not because you have to best someone. If it becomes an obsession of dominating everyone, that is when it won't be fun anymore
if writing books is what you love to do, then go for it!!!!!!! don't hold your self back because you might get famous. if u get famous, so be it. atleast you'll know people like your writing if u do get famous. :D
