I read a short story in teenink called "How I Became a Murderer" and it tells us about a girl that has to put dogs to sleep with needles. This job made the author feel like a murder. The job also caused lack of sleep, weight loss, and a lack of self respect. What do you guys think.

Well, this type of job needs to be done by someone who doesn't feel that way after. Maybe someone that can handle death better than others. The girl must have felt the dogs pain and felt like she was killing him. Others might think they're doing the dog justice by letting it not suffer anymore. It just depends on the person.
