It's a mix of Algebra and Geometry! It's terrible!
I know, I so agree. I was good at it though, so I could read a book pretty much all class and still get an A! xD It's so boring too. I'm so glad I'm in algebra two this year not. But at least it's better than geometry.
Lucky. My mum says I'm good at both, which is why I don't understand either of them. She also says people have geometry brains and algebra brains. Sounds like you have an algebra brain. She says I hae both.
YES! PEOPLE WHO ALSO DISLIKE GEOMETRY! MATH IS THE THORN IN MY PAW!
I actually love math, but like, I can understand why some people would hate Geometry specifically. I suggest getting used to it though, guess what Algebra 2, Trig and Calc is? More algebra mixed with geometry. Although, Trig is more geometry than Algebra, so, ya know... anyway, a good book to read taht may help in your understanding of Geometry is "Flatland". It really is a good book. Also, if there is a specific part of Geometry that you really don't understand, try looking up "Quan Academy". This guy is like awesome.
Wait, i thought Khan Academy was the online course thing?
I haven't seen any geometry in algebra 2 yet, but maybe I'm not far enough into the year? I don't know. I actually figure I like algebra because its just making things as simple as possible, and I like things in their simplest form. I think simple is much prettier (and makes me less anxious) than complex things.
I'm taking geometry right now and its SO difficult because I can do Algebra, because its just numbers, you know? But Geometry has proofs which are ALL writing and quite frankly have almost no actual math involved...so yes, I understand your geometry pains. Math should be math...not writing!
Math stands for Mental Abuse To Humans. I'm taking algebra 1 and I almost failed it last year because of the old, lazy, teacher
me too my teacher gave us some hard work with algebra and geometry
