military:) im considering joining the marines:)
Oooh-rah! :D The marines are awesome - I have a friend who joined. But I've got family in the AF, so of course I'm bias. ;) Why do you want to join? Why the marines? I think I may do some years in the NG - I just want to serve, you know?
the marines are AWESOME haha...ive also got family in the AF:) i want to serve my country..i want to keep our country free...i want to work hard and show my gratitude for what all of our soldiers in the past have done...i think the marines chose me more than i chose them...its just sorta been something i KNEW i wanted to do my WHOLE life...you know what im saying? i just wanna be out there, fighting for the people in america, making america safe....i want a purpose in life....
I totally know what you're saying, and I salute you. :) It's great to meet other people who feel the way I do about this country we live in. :)
hahahaha yeah its great:) i cant wait until im old enough to actually fulfill my dreams:) im totally psyched!!!!!!
Same here. :) Oh well - until then I'll stick to writing about soldiers. :)
My daddy was in the AF & my gdaddy and 2 of my uncles were in the Navy so its kinda in my blood:) But I want to be in the Marines:)
:D military brats ftw!
heck yeah!!!!! XD:P
My dad was army reserve, and my grampy was army (he fought in WWII). I want to join the marines though. The training seems so cool, (awful reason, I know) But it's such a good thing to serve your country. Also, I want to get into the CIA after, and I heard you have a better chance if you have military experience.
Actually, our country has gone downhill since those "past soldiers" frankly it's hardly worth fighting for anymore. However I myself am considering joining the military, with the shape our country is in, I aim my goals more towards showing people that Americans aren't as bad as they all think.
Yeah, I know! It's amazing how many people don't like americans. Not all of them fit the stereotype!
I'd say it goes like this:
1. Air force (tons of perks lol)
2. Marines (you know they're b.a.d.a.s.s)
3. Navy (waaaaay too much time No Contact)4. Army (too many kids fresh out of high school)
I want to go to Med school and then enlist as a doctor for the Army base up in Germany. It's my life dream to help our country, not just by shooting bullets, but by treating bullet wounds.
That's cool! I know a guy who's a USAF doctor. :)
my mom, uncle, great grandpa, and cousin once removed were all in the army. i would join just to wear the uniforms. i have a cast off pair of pants that dont fit my mom and they are the comfiest article of chothing i own. might enlist eventually, might not. i dont really know what i want to be when i grow up yet.
Im in high school still but ever since I got into high school I knew I wanted to serve the country in some way. I am very strong and fit often out-lifting some of the guys and breaking records for girls bench and squats. When I spoke to my cousin (a navy seal) about being in the military he smiled and said "lets get to work". Through training with him and learning from others that work in the military I want to become either a marine or a soldier in the army. I am currently looking at VMI as an early decision college! OORAH!
I'm an army brat, but I can't join because of a mental health issue that got out of hand for a while and my siblings have heart defects and hearing aids so that legacy is over for my family. I don't really mind, I've always known I would never join the military, but I kind of want to teach overseas with the Peace Corp. I believe every child has the right to an education, and it's my dream to make a difference in the world. To help a whole classroom of children have a better future would be amazing. Absolutely amazing. And I hope I'd be allowed to join since it's not considered a "high stress job".
