Any other 13 year olds who know what they want to do for the rest of their life?
I'm 13 and I know that i want to be an author when I'm older. I know the college I want to go to. Does anybody else?
That's Great!! I'm 16 and I have no clue what I might become when I'm older, I don't even know if I'm going to college.
It's awesome that you know/have an idea of what you want to do(:
i do. i want to be a trauma surgeon wen i'm older. and yeah, i'm 13 too.
i think you will make a great author.....i want to be a guidance counselor or an ob/gyn
Thanks guys! I'm not really used to actually getting replies... poetrybutterfly, why do think I would be a great author?
I think you will be a great author because you seem like a nice person and you joined this website....:)
I am not used to getting replies either.....
I'm sixteen and i know exactly what i want to do withmy life. I want to go to Hollins College major in Creative Writing, minor in International studies, so i can become a food journalist. It's the best of both worlds, i get to write and eat! YAY ME!
This is relieving to hear because it reminds me so much of my thirteen year old self (It's been a couple years since then, but I'm still the same) ! I knew I wanted to be an author when I was 4 and a zoologist as a day job when I was 8. I knew I wanted a Ph.D from a good university when I was 9. Anyways, keep dreaming, it's good to have an idea of what you want to do and what kinds of things you're interested in young.:)
I'm not 13, but I've known since I was 9. :3
I know hat I want to be, but I'm not 13 either. :)
hat? That's clever. Usually they make no sense. *What*
I want to go to a small college for undergrad and then a veterinary school. I want to be a Zoological Staff Veternarian or a Marine Veternarian.
im 13 and i want to be a missionary/author
I've known what I wanted to do since I was nine. I figured out my top colleges when I was twelve :3 It really helps to know early. That way you can start working towards whatever you want to be.
I was 13 but today is my birthday so now I am 14. I want to be an author that writes a lot about teenager problems and how we see life through our eyes. My Grandmother was an author, i want to follow in her footsteps. Plus, some of her friends will sponser me, so i am so thankful for it. I still dont know what college but i hope its a nice one
How much money does an average writer make? I plan to major in biological engineering. The college I will be going to is MIT. Massachusetts Institute of Techonology. And I am only 13. I am a freshman in my school, and I am already taking Pre-Calculus, and AP Physics. Good Day .
And YES, I'm Asian.
Oh my God! I'm really impressed! I wish I could take AP Physics, but sadly I'm only in eigth grade. At least I'm taking the most advanced classes I can. As for the pay of an author, the average salary is 50,000 a year.
Don't worry about not taking advanced classes; you can get where you want to go with drive and perserverance, whether or not you can take classes at AP or equivalent level. And are you sure that's the average salary? Because for the vast majority of people who write, work is rejected most of the time and it is definitely NOT a full-time job.
That is the average salary for those who get published. I apologize for the confusion, I should have been clearer. And you're right, most people who write do not get published.
