Of course it's okay for not fitting in! Being original and yourself are the way people get real strength in this world. Acting like someone else gets you power, not the same as strength. Maybe you should tell your friends, "Hey, I've had enough of it. If you were my real friends, you would accept me for who I am, no matter what." I have a really good friend, who thinks I'm weird. But it's okay. You know why? Because she says she likes my weirdness. It's part of her best friend. She can't get enough of it. And I laughed when i heard. Don't think that you're weird. You say you're friends think you're weird? I'm your friend. Here at TeenInk, we are all each other's friends. We offer advice to each other. We all experience similar things. You aren't weird for that. You fit in with all of us perfectly. If you were standing in a crowd of people, do you think i would be able to tell the first person from the nexxt? Maybe. But I will only know who it is because my heart tells me, "Hey, that's your friend, Cookies..." and I'll be like, "Cookies...? I'll go stand next to her, because she's my friend." We are all weird in our own way. Remember that. :)

being weird is better then being normal. thats all you say while everyone else is being boring you are rocking your own style. if your best friend is dsoing it maybe you guys need to talk because i best friend is someone who loves you no matter what you do! and emo stands for emotionally unstable not someone who cuts or wears black clothing. peopls now a days are dumb. so just be your self and keep on smiling at what they say because one day they'll be sorry.

There's a fine line. I am always battling between who i am and who i show myself to be.

I'm exactly like that. My friends themselves laugh at me when I sprout some weird junk that comes out of my mouth. I feel like people are talking behind my back. I'm pretty sure some people think I'm autistic. I want to scream, I want to punch a wall, and some days I literally come up with a mass email to send to everyone I hate, before I delete it.
I geuss I just deal. Remember when everything is over, when you're out of high school, you'll be the one on top. Everything always turns out okay. If today's a bad day, then think about what's around the corner.

I know exactly how that feels, heres what i do...i try and stay positive and tell myself it is a good thing to be different, think about it...if everyone was the same then no one would be unique or special we would all be the same. So don't tell yourself that because it is a good thing to be different. Keep your chin up!

If you feel like that dont change yes it can be hard but be yourself things always have a weird way of turning out. Why dont you try joining a club or maybe a team. To get people to notice you and maybe make some friends.

The only time I'd want to fit in with everyone else is if I was on the run from an axe murderer, and had to blend with the crowd. ;D

hahahaha, You're a writer, what did they expect? Don't take it to heart. You are who you are, and that's all that matters.
