Maybe it's just be and because I'm Lebanese, but my brother always gets the better end of any stick. I started noticing it with petty things like how he got to date earlier than I did, got his cellphone before the always enforeced wait until you're 13 rule, and never gets more than a week of gaming taken away from him with a C(where as I'm not allowed out of the house after 6, can't do sports, can't watch TV, and can't go out with any friends). It became more noticible when my brother accused me of spying on him and his girlfriend when all I was doing was getting my backpack to do my homework, and got grilled by my father for almost an hour about how rude I was and how much of an embarrassment to the family I am. I get mostly As with the ocassional B, I'm going to a great college soon, and I'm dating a nice guy not some biker kid(not to mention I cook dinner every night and clean like a good little Lebanese girl...) and yet I'm still not good enough for them as my C student brother? Anyone else understand or have this happen to them?
It's easy to think you're getting the raw end of the stick, but I think it's just a case of youngest syndrome. The youngest is always sheltered and given special treatment cause they are the baby of the family. Sad, but true. They also get the most attention and tend to think they are the center of the universe.
Yeah and with me leaving soon I have a feeling it'll only get worse :P
