One time I stopped talking to my dad for a month because I was furious with him. It hurt both of us really bad so I ended up talking to him at the end of that month and it helped so much. I would just sit down and talk to him.

Definitely talk to him!

One tip: Don't act cocky or like you've done nothing wrong. It's been said that it takes two to argue, and so don't assume he did everything wrong. If you're really repentant, and he sees that, then you'll have a much better chance of rebuilding your relationship with him!

Also- respect. Make sure you respect him! If he has ever done something that makes it hard for you to respect him, don't be afraid to talk to him about it. Vocal interraction is an important part in kid/parent relationships.

I hope this helps, and that your relationship with your dad gets better!

start with a simple conversation about the weather or something. Get more personal and talk about what happened, build up to it and maybe if hes a good enough guy he will listen. Whats the worst he can do? say he doesnt wanna hear it and walk away? I mean i hope thats the worst...
