I have a friend who stopped talking to me just because she wanted to renew a friendship with another person. I mean, completely shut me out, though. So yeah, I don't know if I should keep trying to be her friend or just get over it over time. Do you have any advice?

I'm sorry about your friend, but if she's shutting you out, maybe you need to try to find a new friend to replace that friendship with. Last year, I lost a friend. She moved 2 1/2 hours away from me and I thought I would never get over it. We had been friends for as long as I can remember. But I became closer to some of my other friends, and I met some new people. Open yourself up to new people. I hope that helped.

I second Anya's advice and by my experince as time passes, especally through HS, you will at the end find out who your true friends are and those are the ones that stick by you NO matter what!

Thank you both so much for your advice! I know I will be able to meet new friends when I go into high school next year. :)
