Meeting the parents can be quite scary. I heard of this DJ named Sara Fraser—shout out Hot 99.5—when she was having dinner with her boyfriend's parents, she accidentally had her monthly visitor that all girls have. o_O So, do you have any good strories that come anywhere close to that. The more embarrassing the better. It can even be about how your parents embarasses you during their meeting your date or whatnot. No limits here.
just yesterday, i brought my girlfriend to my dads house. my mom then had her montly...like in what you were saying. but, my dad then told me to go to the store to buy tampons for my mom!!!! i usualy can handle things like this, but not when my girl then wants to tag along to buy the right size!!!!! then, my girlfriend had to ask my mom how big of a tampon to buy!!!
Wow, the irony in that. That's hilarious however. Hope everything works out with your girlfriend. That must've been that most awkward situation ever. I don't know how I would've reacted. You are brave to buy your mom tamps, than bring your girlfriend to help you. ^u^
I brought my boyfriend (at the time) to a live stream event my parents were hosting so he could meet them for the first time. He had never had a girlfriend before, so he was really nervous and wanted to make a good impression. First he went to my parents and formally shook hands with both, adressing them as Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Then he went and intorduced himself to every member of my parent's camera and tech crew saying, "Hi! I'm Rachel's" boyfriend."
To this day, they still tease me about it. ( Considering most of the crew were attractive male interns, I can see his need to be overly posessive.)
I feel for him at the beginning, trying to impress your parents. The whole possesvie thing. Eh, not my thing. As long as you two are happy. Great story, Cantrella. That's an interesting name...Cantrella. Fun to say.
i took my then-boyfriend to a dance at a club that my family is a part of. the first thing my great-aunt said to me when i introduced her was "oh he's a looker". I started laughing and he turned bright red. my great-aunt actually brings this up every so often even tho we broke up last year.
