Question: What is Love exactly? (And no, I'm not just talking about the romantic variety, although that is quite important as well and I would like to hear your opinion on that).
I dare to ask which do you want to hear, the biological, psychological or even the physiological defintions? My own definition? Oh surely there are over 7 billion people on this planet each one with their own version of the definition of love lol.
Whichever opinion you have on love, please tell me.
There must be some things that everyone agrees on , don't you think?
It's hard to explain...
There are so many different kinds of love. Romantically, I couldn't say as I've never been head over heels for someone. But the concept, the feeling of caring for someone greatly...it doesn't really feel like much, just a happiness to be with them, around them, and that your heart will tear out at the thought of them leaving. You get agitated when they are gone for too long, and you can't imagine you life without them.
That's what it feels like for me.
The biblical defintion is God.
Read 1John chapter 4.
Also read second Corinthians 15. This chapter is completely dedicated to love.
Whtat I know about love is that love is a verb. If you love someone, you love them by showing your love, not feeling it. Feelings are unreliable and dangerous. Actions are real and fulfilling... sometimes. But I don't need to go into whatever is not fulfilling.
1 Corinthians 13: 3-13 is also excellent. Thank you! :)
