I dont think its good for u to date behind ur parents back...........dont try to make them like him...I think you need to step back and check this guy out. Is he really what you want or are u just physicaly attracted to him? Talk to ur mom and dad.....ask them why you dont like him.....they might see somethign that ur missing.

Do your parents know a lot about him or nothing at all and they only caught a glimpse of him perhaps and formed there own conclusion? If he had a bad first impression then that would suck. Now for the advice until you answer those questions. Talk to them about him specifically and tell them you really want to be in a relationship with him, make sure you are calm and mature the entire time. Give me more info if you want that way you can receive better help. Hope everything works out.

Hi. I am sure this must be a difficult situation for you. However, there's always a solution. First off, what exactly don't your parents like about him? Figure out if it is just a bad impression that they have of him, or if there is actually something that puts them off about him. I believe that you are a responsible, mature person, and will be able to make the right decision. After all, is he worth lying to your parents for? :)
