Since Frenchie is temporarily unresponsive, then allow me to help. Flanny, just be yourself and be friendly towards the person that you have an interest in. If he likes you and isn't shy, then he will try to make his move. Vampriss, you make new friends, confiding in siblings or a close cousin helps also, and by chance if you believe in God (I'm Christian) then lean completely on him and all other things will fall into place.

Cellobook: Talk to her and keep talking to her. It's going to be very difficult to get her to like you over someone else but not impossible. Remember to give her compliments and after some time has passed and you two are friends start giving her frequent hugs, if she keeps up with hugging you then you have a decent chance of getting a yes if you ask her. Of course you can explain the situation in further detail then receive more help.
Britt if you're still having troubles then heres some advice. He could be bold with words but shy in action or all talk with no real action. When you get the chance to ask him to move by you again and he gives you an excuse just question the excuse and then find out why he always gives excuses by doing that.
flanny: i'm a guy and i'll tell you straight foward. we like modesty, honesty, and no gy friends. guys tend to get a bit jealous thou that is a way to get a guy to make a move faster if you know he likes you. we look for being yourself. not two-face average highschooler we like who you are for being yourself. hope that helps:) aslo can you return the favor. what do girls look for in guys?
Okay, boys: do shy girls really get noticed? I'm not talking painfully, boring-ly (lol) shy, but definitely not outgoing. And I mean in high school, not after guys "mature"... Which is debatable in and of itself :)
