How Would You Strike Up a Conversation With an Attractive Stranger in Public?

The title pretty much says it all. I have no idea how to strike up conversation in public with someone who I think is cute, so, if anyone could give me like a step-by-step guide, that would be perfect, and I would definatly try it out. For example, how would you approach and start a conversation with a cute stranger at a resturant? in a shopping mall? in a grocery store? at a park? at a ... skating rink? in a clothing store..?

Wow i'm sorry i'd love to help you, but due to my innate akwardness, i have no idea how. my only advice: don't be as akward as me!

Lol, well you’re in luck because I love talking to attractive strangers in public places. I’m pretty shameless so I just go up and act like the weird, funny, awkward person I am. Usually I just go up and say something like “your cute” “hey stranger” “hey person I don’t know yet, but would love to” or some cheesy pick up line to make them laugh. After that just talk, introduce yourself, ask for their name, how old they are, ext.… whatever you do just remember to be yourself and don’t let rejection get you down, just keep trying until someone can’t get enough of you :) good luck!!!

lucky me :D so, you just walk right up and say something like that? have u ever met anyone nice from doing that, like has it ever lead to a real relashionship??

I agree with Naomi :P Just use some cheesy pick up line or make a joke about what they're doing, I do that with my friends sometimes and it's funny. Or try complimenting them on their shirt or shoes or something. And of course be yourself! :D

yeah, but its allways much more fun, and alot easier if you have friends with you :) yeah actually i did aquire a boyfriend that way, but were just friends now :) have fun!!!

Be confident, don't be afraid. Just go up to him and say somethign nice or funny, something that will get him to smile.

Being confident is a key part but a few good things to remember is to 1) examine the girl you are about to approach. 2) When you approach her treat her like she's been your friend for ages. 3) Act yourself, any other way is just lame. 4) A simple "hello" as a greeting is more then enough lol. And 5) If you get rejected let these words echo in your ear "On to the next one". There's a lot of things that I could say but I think those 5 things can carry you a long way. Also if you go somewhere everyday or every other day and keep trying to get random girls for a long period of time, you will get better and better and get rejected less and less because talking to strangers will become natural and fun.
