So there's this girl. I just made friends with her at the beggining of the school year. We hang out a lot and stuff, but almost all of my friends hate her. I thought she was pretty cool. Until... a guy came along. She and him are friends and she dated him once before for like a week. She's a huge flirt. Just a fact, and I knew that when I became friends with her. A while after they broke up I told her I like him. Then, after school, she was all over him. And my sister told me she saw her trying to give him hugs and hold his hand and stuff. I thought this guy liked me back too because I always catch him staring at me in class, and showing off in front of me. I want to talk to my friend about flirting with him and whatnot but I'm not sure what to do.. Please help?!
Your sister could be wrong in what she saw, not in the sense that she lied but in the sense that she may have misinterpreted what she saw. Ethirway, your friend is a clasic attention-whore, she must have the spotlight no matter what and if you were to date him. Drama and problems will never cease till that spotlight-queen finds someone else to share and show-off. I'll leave it to you to descide to keep the friendship or not. But for the most part I would wait a while till he is free of her. I.E She cheats on him with someone else.
I'm not sure what you mean. When you "want to talk to my friend about flirting with him and whatnot', do you mean that you want to confront/discuss her flirting with him and how it make you feel? Or do you want to talk about your flirting with him and whether or not it's a good idea? If #1, I would go for it, girlfriend! Just make sure you do it in private-ish (like your room or whatnot) and face to face. If #2, I still think you should do #1, and if it completely bombs and she gets really mad at you, then just talk to your other friends about him. I hope I gave you some idea of what to do, and I hope it really helps!
Thanks. I think I got everything worked out. I didn't have a chance to talk with my friend because she started dating someone and stopped flirting.
